Different ideology of Hindu Religion:-

Although the Hindus and the Muslims were living together but there was a sharp difference b/w their culture, civilization. Islam provides the principle of Tauheed where as Hindus believe on multiple Gods. Islam gives the massage of brother hood and equality while the Hindu society was divided into a numbers of eastes.

Equality and Fraternity:-   

Equality is the equal ranking i.e. giving equal rights. Islam is the torch bearer of equality and brother hood among the all human beings.

Quran says:-

“O mankind Lo! We have created you male and female and made your communities, and clans that you may know one another”.

No human being is superior to another on the basis of colour and race, the only things which can distinguish a person from other is God fearing and purity of soul.

Equal Rights For Non-Muslims Citizens:-

Non-Muslims citizens also enjoy equal rights in an Islamic state. They are free to practice and propagate their religion. Their life, property and places of worship must be protected by the Islamic state. As Muhammad (SAW) said:-

“We will look after a person who is without guardian”.

Democracy:-

Democracy is basically a Greek word, ‘Demo’ mean people and ‘Karatia’ mean government run with the consult of the common man.

Islamic democracy is different than the western democracy. Islamic democracy is based on consolations.

Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) once said:

“Islam and government are twins. None of them can remain isolate. Islam is like a building while govt. is its guardian.

Question: Explain Pakistan ideology in the light of the statement of Allama Iqbal?

Answer: Allama Iqbal was a great Philosopher, lawyer, scholar and poet. Through his poetry he try to awaken the Muslim of the subcontinent.

He was reliable friend of Quaid-e-Azam. He joined Muslim league in 1927and become a chairman of Muslim league conference in 1930. He wrote series of essays.  “The reconstruction of religious thoughts”.

He led the Muslims at every step and rendered great services in the accomplishment of Pakistan.

  • Islam As the basis of Muslim Nationhood:-Iqbal (RA) in 1908 said: The membership of Islam as a community is not determined by birth, race, colour etc, but faith, those who believe in Allah and prophet Muhammad (SAW). They become part of one nation.
  • Islam Unity and Brotherhood:-Advocating Islamic Unity and brotherhood Iqbal’s said: Without unity Muslim cannot liberate themselves from the clutches of colonial power.
  • Importance of Quran:-Quran must be the ultimate source of guidance without following teaching of Islam success in both in the worlds is not possible.
  • Future of Islam as the New world Order:-In the statement issued on 26th Feb 1933 Iqbal’s said: “After visiting different European countries and seeing the general moral chaos of the modern world, I am convinced that the great opportunity for Islam as a faith has come”.     
  • Iqbal’s Allahabad Address:-In 1930 in Allahabad Iqbal’s said: “The only solution to the political problems of subcontinent is the establishment of consolidated Muslims North- west Indian state in subcontinent”.
